Bark Shed
Before winter set in, the hemlock bark so vital to the tanning process, had to be stock piled and stored in a building called, you guessed it, the Bark Shed. That is where this cabin got its name. Located to the east of the main house Bark Shed is bordered by Adirondack wilderness and often visited by white tail deer, turkeys and other small wildlife. The décor of Bark Shed is a reflection of that wilderness featuring a stone fireplace, hand stenciled walls, antique furniture, and hand braided rugs. You are welcome to don your snow shoes and tramp off into the woods right outside your door and when you return warm yourself in front of a wood burning stone fireplace.
$200/night (based on 4 person occupancy)
